It’s a varied bunch for November: we have four new releases for you this month, so you can indulge in some winter listening as the days get darker!
The author of several other popular non-fiction works for Naxos AudioBooks, Peter Whitfield’s The History of Western Art explores the art of ancient civilisations right up to the twentieth century, which makes for enriching listening. Secondly, we are releasing an abridged version of H. Rider Haggard’s She, a 19th-century adventure classic. We are also releasing a box set of Mervyn Peake’s phenomenal Gormenghast Trilogy, along with Titus Awakes, which was written by his widow Maeve Gilmore, from a fragment by Peake. Finally, critically acclaimed Dickens reader Anton Lesser reads the unabridged Hard Times for us, in anticipation of the 200th anniversary of Dickens’s birth in 2012. |
Naxos has transformed the classical market place in the last decade. As the world’s leading classical music label, we can offer you an unparalleled range of repertoire for licensing.
