
Judith Spiesser
Born in Munich in 1982, the soprano Judith Spiesser began her studies at the Hamburg Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama with Yoshimitsu Haga and Eva-Maria Tearsson. In October 2004 she moved to the Munich Musikhochschule, studying with Fenna Kügel-Seifried and in the Lieder class of Juliane Banse. She participated in master-courses with Helmut Deutsch and Lioba Braun, and appeared as Papagena in Die Zauberflöte and at the Nymphenburg Castle Concerts as the Dew Fairy in Hänsel und Gretel, the kitchen-maid in Stravinsky’s Nightingale and as Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro at the Munich Pasinger Fabrik.
