
Lydia Wong
Lydia Wong, one of Canada’s most sought after collaborative pianists, appears regularly with the world’s most eminent performers in venues across the globe from Carnegie Recital Hall in New York City to London’s Wigmore Hall. Active in new music she has enjoyed a particular association with Krzystof Penderecki, performing his works around the world, and can be heard on Naxos, Centrediscs, Marquis Classics and Phoenix Records, with performances for networks in North America, Africa and Europe besides broadcasting regularly for the CBC. Lydia Wong teaches at the University of Toronto, is a faculty member of the summer music programme at the Banff Centre for the Arts and in 2004 taught and performed at the Casals Festival in Prades.
